Terrorism Never Dies

I am angry and there is no denying the reason. People are so naive when it comes to the War on Terror. Osama Bin Laden is dead. Oh yippee! Let’s all be stupid and go get drunk and party our asses off! The war is over! WRONG! The war will never be over! Terrorism never dies! Radical Islam will never die!

Look folks, I am glad you are happy. If you lost someone in the 9/11 terrorist attacks than maybe you can feel a little better knowing that one of the masterminds behind it is dead. Peace of mind is the only recompense you will feel. Radical movements do not die when one of the leaders is killed, this only helps their cause. We are the infidel. We are the ones that are against their cause and that is why we are the infidel. If we kill one of theirs, no matter the rank, they retaliate. You can’t deny, and honestly you cant have an opinion about it unless you fight against it.

I chose my path in life, and I would much rather be on the walls shooting back at the enemy than be the scared little kid hiding under the bed. My girlfriend told me about all the college students that went out and got drunk and partied in the streets at the major universities because Osama died. Well, congratulations another excuse for you useless punks to go party! You have absolutely no concept as to what goes on over here in Afghanistan. You can speculate all you want and you can sit and debate in political science classes all you want. However, you will never understand how radical movements fight until you are over here fighting against them. Useless punks? Is that extreme? Do you feel like I insulted you if you fall under that category? Well, good I meant to insult you. I will be blunt because I feel like that is the only way that I can get my point across. In the Army a lot of people don’t understand an order unless it is cursed at them. So maybe you useless punks out there will only understand my anger if I yell at you.

Osama died, that doesn’t mean the war is over. Osama died, that doesn’t mean I am not going to get shot at anymore. Osama died, that doesn’t mean you can feel safe from terrorism. Do not act differently! Still be wary! They will strike again! Furthermore, Mr. Obama do not feel smug in your golden chair at your white house. This does not mean you will get re-elected. You did not pull the trigger, so don’t feel so high and mighty.
