Check this out another great witness made against Notre Dame who has in recent times agreed to have President Obama give a commencement speech and recieve an honorary degree. Furthermore to make matters more interesting Arizona State University who also is having the President give a commencement speech has decided not to give the president an honorary degree. ASU Media Relations Director Sharon Keeler said “that Arizona’s honorary degrees are given “for an achievement of eminence” and that the president was not considered for an honorary degree because his body of achievements, at this time, does not meet the criteria.” Well there you have it folks a State institution turning down the President when a private one does not have the guts to do so.
